Why Party at Cat’s Meow?
Combining an entertainment bar with live karaoke, Cat’s Meow Las Vegas Karaoke is the go-to place for aspiring performers who’d never miss an opportunity to dazzle crowds. The music never stops and the stage is always open for guests who have the talent (or the guts) to grab the mic and be the star of their own show.
Cat’s Meow is allegedly the “best karaoke bar in the world” and considering how much people (and celebrities) love the place, it isn’t hard to believe that. For more than 25 years, the bar has been offering unmatched entertainment in a lively setting that has become part of the city’s energetic music scene. Be it a bachelor party or a wild night with the girls, Cat’s Meow Las Vegas Karaoke is the casual place that gives everyone a true taste of what it’s like to have fun like a local in Vegas.
Miley Cyrus, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Lilian Garcia, and other A-listers have also graced the stage in Cat’s Meow—and who knows, maybe you could launch your singing career at the same stage too! Did we mention that there are live webcams? Cat’s Meow Las Vegas Karaoke has 4 full streaming HD live webcams, so once you’re on that stage, anyone around the world can see and comment on your performance!
If you want to take a break from the busy vibes of The Strip and just chill in a casual bar, Cat’s Meow is our top reco for you.
One awesome thing about Cat’s Meow Las Vegas Karaoke is their 2-in-1 Happy Hour that has been delighting people since 1989. From 2pm to 8pm, you get to enjoy two drinks for the price one, but that’s not even the best part! This karaoke bar’s happy hour is popular because drink selection includes domestic long neck beers and delish triple shot cocktails in 32 oz. cups. Don’t forget to try their signature drinks, too! Pussycat and Trashcan are some of the crowd favorites.
However, the karaoke bar doesn’t serve lunch or dinner. You’ll find only starters like fries, chicken strips, and hot dogs, but no meals. Fremont Street is full of restaurants and snack bars though, and there are numerous dining options serving local cuisine just steps away from Cat’s Meow.
Live karaoke is the main draw to Cat’s Meow, so best expect long lines to the mic. Take note that the average is 8 guest songs per hour; if you sign up and see 20 names before yours (which is often the case), you’ll have to wait hours to finally set foot on that stage.
If you’re coming for the live karaoke, we suggest that you hit Cat’s Meow during happy hour. There are usually less people during this time and even if there are, signing up early means you can get to the mic just in time for the after-dinner entertainment and drinks.
Also, don’t even try to bribe your way to the stage. Cat’s Meow’s entertainers don’t accept bribes or tips to let you skip the line, no matter how sweetly you ask. There’s one way to ‘legally’ be first in line though, and that’s to get the HOT Line (Head of the Line) pass. For $125, the HOT Line pass is an all-at-once package that gets you a tray of jello shots, 7 drinks of your choice, a Cat’s Meow shirt, a DVD copy of your performance, some goodies, and a one-time skip-the-line pass for you and your group (5 people). If you and your friends can’t stay late, the HOT Line pass is a handy thing you wouldn’t want to miss.
